A Winter Stint in Utah!

After the weekend in DC for the wedding, we were able to spend three days in Utah.  We wished we could have seen more snow!  But alas and a lack!  We did get to see a lot of family.  We had a traditional Lamb Christmas Eve, even though it wasn't Christmas Eve (thank you for being so accommodating!!) complete with songs, nativity, and stories!  Austin was Joseph, Gabe was wandering around, and Nona was asleep!  It all is supposed to sink in though, right?
Nona and Gabe had fun playing with the noise-making toys at Nana and Papa's house.

The kids also love the blocks and Lincoln Logs sets that Papa keeps in his office.
This Is The Place Park puts on a wonderful Christmas extravaganza.  Here's the Polar Express- the most authentic looking train the boys have been on and they thought it was sooo cool! Morgan and friend came to join us for the night, which was really fun!

A live Nativity- including live baby!!
 And reindeer!
On our very last morning, it snowed about an inch. So, we went sledding of course!! Gabe went in his crocs. Who needs boots in an inch of snow?!
There's a great little hill behind Nana and Papa's house that we went up and down as much as we could until the snow was melted.

We got to see Santa too. Gabe asked him for a Candy Cane- which Santa happened to have in his bag right then!  Amazing! ;)
Austin asked him for a new bike- but that's what he got last year.  I think he would always like a new bike though!
Nona just asked him to let go!

Yea, Nona, for knowing about stranger danger! :^)
Thanks for capturing so many memories, Abby.
